His comments come as former President Donald Trump said Saturday that he expects to be arrested soon based on “illegal leaks” from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, according to Breitbart News.
DA Alvin Bragg’s office is investigating his alleged role in hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels. The news comes as Trump again runs for president in 2024.
In a statement on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump wrote:
The illicit leaks from the corrupt and highly political Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, which allowed new records in violent crime and whose leader was funded by George Soros, made it clear, without a crime. And with his full mandate (by a number of other attorneys!) It was not immediately known what criminal charges the former president would face.
